Notice of switching to e-Statement and/or e-Advice

Dear Valued Customer,

ICBC (Asia) is committed to reducing paper usage for environmental protection. With effect from May 11th 2021, the Bank will automatically switch to the e-Statement (bank consolidated statement)/ e-advice for eligible customers, in order to provide more convenient and low-carbon service. Details are as follows:

1.With effect from May 11th 2021, e-statement and/or e-advice will be sent in electronic format for customers who fulfill the conditions of using e-Statement and/or e-Advice service (using the bank Personal Internet Banking services with a valid email or mobile phone registered in the bank). Customers who have already registered for the e-statement and/or e-advice service will not be affected.

2.When your e-Statement or e-Advice is available, an SMS or email notification will be sent to your registered valid email or mobile phone, reminding you to login Personal Internet Banking to view, download or print the latest e-Statement and/or e-Advice.

3.If you would still like to retain the delivery of paper statement and/or advice, you can register in “Electronic Services” section on Personal Internet Banking with effect from May 11th 2021. A fee of HK$10 will be charged per quarter for mailing paper statement, the fee is not applicable for advice services.


Customers who do not fulfill the conditions of using the e-Statement/e-Advice service can register through following methods:

1.For current Personal Internet Banking customers without registered valid email or mobile number:
Add mobile phone or email via Personal Internet Banking: Please login Personal Internet Banking and select “Electronic Services > Security Center> Personal Information Enquiry/Modification” to update your information.
Add a mobile phone or email address by submitting application form: Download “Changing Address and/or Customer Information Instruction Form” from our website at www.icbcasia.com/ICBC/TcEsAdviceand return the completed form to us by following methods:
(1) Mail to the Bank’s Post Office Box (P.O Box 872, General Post Office, Hong Kong) or,
(2) Hand in to our branches in person.
Register e-statement service via Personal Internet Banking:Login in Personal Internet Banking and select “Electronic Services > e-Statement > Apply/ Cancel e-Statement” for application, the instruction will be processed from next statement issuing date.


2. Customers who did not register Personal Internet Banking:
Submit application form to register Personal Internet Banking and e-statement services: Download “Personal Internet Banking/Phone Banking Services - Application / Amendment Form” from our website at www.icbcasia.com/ICBC/TcEsAdvice and return the completed form to us by following methods:
(1) Mail to the Bank’s Post Office Box (P.O Box 872, General Post Office, Hong Kong) or,
(2) Hand in to our branches in person.
